Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I will benefit from Heart Coherence?

Scientific research over the past decade has irrefutably proven that being in a state of heart/brain sync leads to better self-regulation and many other benefits such as:

  • Reduced Stress & Anxiety

  • Better Mental Clarity

  • Better Focus

  • Better Decision Making

  • Better Inter-Personal Relationships

  • Less Overwhelm

  • Improved Sleep Quality

  • Increased Energy

  • Better Immune Function

Is horse-play a necessary part of the process?

Nope! Absolutely not. Heart/Brain sync is available to anyone at any time of the day. Learning and practicing the techniques is all that is required.

The advantage of horse interaction is a very profound experiential process that immediately mirrors coherence, our internal state and what we are projecting into the world.

Is the whole program “playful”and calm?

The majority (about 80 %) is designed to be light‑hearted and experiential. If you opt into the in-depth Equine Gestalt Coaching track, that portion gets more serious, is confidential and handled with trauma‑informed care.

What if a session triggers me?

We start every session with a safety check‑in. If something surfaces, we pause, ground you, and discuss your comfort level and whether you’d like to continue or take a break. There is also the option of moving to the trauma‑informed pathway if you prefer. You’re always in control.

How do I know which track I’m in?

Your enrolment form asks whether you’d like to keep the experience purely playful or explore the optional trauma‑informed option. The two tracks are booked separately and clearly labeled in our calendar.

What are my responsibilities for equine sessions?
  • Arrive on time, dressed appropriately (closed‑toe shoes, comfortable clothing).

  • Follow all safety instructions from our staff.

  • Inform us promptly of any medical conditions, allergies, or triggers that could affect your participation.

  • Respect the horses and fellow participants—no rough handling or disruptive behaviour.
